The role
Enerven’s renewables business is experiencing continued growth, with numerous contracts awarded for the construction of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects around Australia.
To support this growth, we are looking to expand our leadership team with the appointment of a Program Manager. With a focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems, this role plays a fundamental part of shaping our success by delivering our projects and executing on our plans.
Working directly with the Program Director, you will lead the delivery team, taking responsibility for the strategic planning, execution, and management of Enerven’s major program of works nationally. With a strong safety and risk management focus, this role is critical in ensuring the successful on-time and on-budget delivery of the program and for setting up the portfolio to deliver sustainable national growth.
Day to day you will:
- Oversee project teams, manage budgets and ensure compliance with Enerven and Client regulations.
- Lead the delivery team (3-5 direct reports ranging from Project to Senior Project Managers)
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to manage all delivery activities, starting from bidding through to implementation, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
- Manage strong clients relationship resulting in long term partnership.
This role will ideally be Adelaide based, but Sydney or Newcastle locations will also be considered.

You will bring:
- Significant experience in senior project management/construction management roles.
- Experience managing delivery teams across all areas of delivery to ensure financial and commercial outcomes are achieved.
- A tertiary degree in engineering and a Post graduate qualification in business administration.
