Currently we are looking for a Cyber SecurityProgram Manager for our fantastic client to join the Melbourne based team as part of the Information Security Office. This is an initial 12 month contract with potential to be offered a perm position.
We are seeking Expressions of Interest for this role that will be required in 2-3 months.

The Division of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) play a critical role in leading and operating the organisations capabilities for the protection of the information and information and communication technology systems within the digital and non-digital information eco-systems. The CISO’s mission areas are: cybersecurity, information security culture, foreign interference, supply chain, counter-fraud, information security governance, security design and accreditation, data assurance and protection; and insider threats and cyber- harassment.
The Cyber SecurityProgram Manager will apply robust program management methodologies and work with internal and external technical and business stakeholders throughout the program, and accept responsibility for the coordination, delivery and outcomes across all designated projects falling under this program of work.
Role details
Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Cyber SecurityProgram Manager will lead a high performing team and will be responsible for leading program design and delivery of designated areas of the Information Security Program.
The Cyber SecurityProgram Manager will drive the delivery of key initiatives and will develop and maintain relationships to work effectively with stakeholders across a variety of representative group within the organisation as well as with external stakeholders and relevant government and industry sectors. This position will also provide advice to senior staff on the planning, delivery, and management of the program.
In this role you will
- Lead the planning and management of the design and delivery of designated areas of the Information Security Program including providing strategic direction, expertise and taking a leadership role in driving organisational and operational change.
- Provide effective leadership, management, and engagement to team members.
- Provide high-level specialist advice, expertise and support to enable delivery of key initiatives.
- Deliver strategic, responsive, expert advice and progress reporting to Chief Information Security Officer and key stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines related to the Information Security Program.
- Effectively and proactively contribute at a senior level to the ISO planning, policies and activities to support achievement of strategic priorities.
- Build, develop and maintain effective and collaborative strategic partnerships across and within the organisation.
- Postgraduate qualifications and demonstrated significant relevant experience delivering large programs or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training
- Demonstrated high level of achievement and management experience at a senior level in a complex organisation and service delivery environment.
- Proven ability to drive change and business transformation to support the delivery of program benefits.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated high level experience and proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high-level expert organisational, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to forecast the impact of initiatives, manage issues and broker solutions that arise across complex domains and stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrable inclusive leadership and management skills to build high-performing teams.
- Highly developed written, oral and visual communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, briefings and high-level correspondence.
- Demonstrated high-level of understanding of equal opportunity principles and occupational health and safety in the workplace.
