One of Australia's most prominent Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Project Manager to join their highly skilled team to look after Project and Program Management tasks. The role will be based in Adelaide with the ability to work a few days a week from home. The successful Project Manager will be offered a 12-month contract partnered with a 12-month extension option.
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for the below:
- Developing and maintaining project documentation and monitoring reporting status of projects
- Managing project risks and issues
- Looking after the project life cycle including project schedules and change plans
- Providing regular updates and communication plans to stakeholders
The successful Project Manager will have experience in the following:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Project or Program Manager
- Experience in documentation management and project tracking tools such as Jira
- Proven ability to successfully delivery national projects of work
- Demonstrated ability to identify project interdependencies and risks
