Position Summary:
UNSW Business School is a leader in business education and research in the Asian region and one of the largest Business Schools in Australia with more than 16,500 students, 500 academic and professional staff and more than 80,000 alumni and partners.
The Program Officer plays a key role within the Career Accelerator and Student Engagement team in providing practical and efficient project and program support for project teams and key stakeholders. The role entails providing coordination and support, reporting and analytics, development of communications, development of key internal and external relationships, and providing administrative support for key programs and projects across the Business School and AGSM
We welcome applications with experience in academic administration, Student Engagement, or project roles focused on proactive problem-solving and attention to detail. Knowledge or understanding of educational and skill development programmes is a bonus.
Accountabilities:

- Support the delivery of Business School & AGSM courses, projects and initiatives to achieve operational and strategic goals.
- Act as a point of coordination and administrative support to the creation, curation, management and delivery of high-quality WIL and co-curricular experiences.
- Provide advice and operational support for the growth of WIL across the Business School and AGSM.
- Liaise with Faculty Academic staff to ensure the timely coordination and delivery of courses.
- Ensure relevant WIL and CDL systems are compliant and data is accurately maintained through regular compilation and entry.
- Collaborate with relevant teams across the Faculty to coordinate and process student WIL applications, enrolment, training sessions, evaluations and debriefs.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure staff and Students are informed and knowledgeable about opportunities for Business School and AGSM students, continually developing and managing effective communications.
- Support the development of project plans and schedules and participate in planning processes as required.
- Support, facilitate and represent the Business School and AGSM at events as required.
Skills and Experience:
To be considered you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Project experience, with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans, objectives and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
- Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office. Experience with Moodle, Practera, Symplictiy and InPlace will be highly regarded.
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
