This role is an identified role under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
Working within the Queensland Memory team, and directly with the Coordinator, Indigenous Languages, the role will assist in the delivery of key language activities. These activities include programming, facilitating workshops and event coordination. The role will involve direct involvement with First Nations stakeholders, language researchers, language centres, practitioners and cultural organisations to enhance the revitalisation of First Nations languages across the state.
