The Role We currently have a great opportunity for a Business Systems Administration Officer to join our Greater Western Water Contract based in Brooklyn, Victoria. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, This position is accountable for providing first-class customer service and administration support to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- General bookkeeping
- Data entry
- Liaising with both internal/external customers across a broad range of roles and levels
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
- Manage general correspondence
- Checking invoicing
- Reporting
- Reconciliation management
- Customer service
- Maintenance of the company database system
- Provide support to the operational and commercial functions of the contract
- Dispatch
About you To be successful in this role, you will have a 'can do' attitude, excellent attention to detail and a knack for people engagement. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Professional phone manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook (Navision is desirable)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative
- Proficient across multiple disciplines to support the function of the contract
- Have a can-do positive attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Knowledge in general bookkeeping, invoicing and reporting

- High level organisation and dime management skills
- Previous experience in the water sector is desirable but not required.
