- Salary based on experience, range: $75,669 – $97,921 per annum, plus super
- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Outcomes and Evidence team as a Program Support Officer / Executive Assistant. You will play a key role in supporting the Associate Director Outcomes and Evidence, including diary management, and administrative support on budgets, management reports, events and travel coordination, coordination and scheduling of meetings and papers, unit document management, and recruitment and onboarding of staff.
You will work closely with the managers and staff across the Outcomes and Evidence Unit, which comprises 32 staff across four teams, including Portfolio Management, Research and Evaluation, Data and Analytics, and Data and Digital Information Governance. You will support a wide range of projects and tasks across the unit, and liaise with senior management, other Program Support Officers, administrative or Executive Assistants, and external agencies.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to manage own work priorities, meet deadlines, monitor, and work within budgets and coordinate internal team projects/initiatives.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy and discretion, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and the ability to liaise effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to write in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated strong experience in different software applications including Outlook email and calendar, Microsoft office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Skype for Business) and other administrative software.
- Knowledge of the general business of VLA and a commitment to our vision and values.
