Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Automations & Applications, the Programmer Analyst will collaborate closely with Client Operations teams, internal and external technology partners as well as the vendors of the Risk Partner platform.
You will play a critical role in the successful delivery and management of our RiskPartner application. This position will lead the development, enhancement, troubleshooting performance issues, and providing technical support to our clients while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
On a day to day basis you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET, Azure, and SQL Server technologies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Handle data migrations, integrations, and system configurations
- Engage with clients on both a professional and technical level, ensuring the clients’ needs are met and expectations exceeded
- Ensure that initiative deliverables meet quality standards and align with best practices
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance initiative delivery processes, methodologies, and tools
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to keep our applications competitive and innovative
- Updates job knowledge by participating in professional development opportunities
Qualifications
We are interested in hearing from people who have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience
- Are eligible/can obtain a Federal security baseline clearance
- Demonstrated experience in full stack development using .NET frameworks
- Proven experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role
- Firsthand experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development is desirable
- Strong proficiency with SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, and optimization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of interacting with clients in a professional and technical capacity
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and optimizing application performance
- Initiative-taking with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Will be required to travel and work interstate and abroad for training and project assignments
