Project Accountant

scouted. has recently partnered with an Australian property and investment group on the search for a Project Accountant for a 12-month contract.

Our client specialises in property investment opportunities as well as advising and dealing in residential and retail property. With several projects in their portfolio, this brand is gaining traction already and becoming a fierce competitor to larger and more established developers in the market.

Your responsibilities:

• Management of the accounting function (end-to-end, AP/AR/Banking/Bookkeeping)
• Budgeting, forecasting and feasibilities for both Projects and Business functions
• Month-end reporting
• Establishing internal processes to aid the growth of the business
• Manage key stakeholder relationships

Required skills:

• Passion for finance and developing your knowledge
• An exceptional eye for detail and ability to problem solve
• CPA qualified 
• Property experience required
• Previous experience with Xero is beneficial
