Williams River Steel has been operating for over 38 years and specialise in Commercial, Industrial & Precast Buildings with numerous major projects currently under construction on the East Coast of Australia.
We are seeking a Project Administrator / WHS Officer for our project in a major Hunter Valley Mine.
As an experienced Project Administrator/WHS Officer, you will ideally have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in industrial/commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high level administrative support to the Project Manager in the delivery of the project
- Project reporting including but not limited to:
- Managing all aspects of WHS planning & activities
- Risk Assessments
- JSA’S
- SWMS Review
- WHS statistics
- Stakeholder communication
- Maintain project specific systems & procedures
- Visitor inductions / escort
- Assist in co-ordination of site activities with Project Management team
- Liaison with site personnel, contractors & consultants
- Maintain an accurate site activity diary, and records
- Liaise with Head Office on contractual & financial matters.
Essential requirements:
- Intermediate / Advanced skills in MS Suite software, including:
- MS Excel;
- MS Word;
- MS Project
- Experience with InEight Document desirable
- Ability to work independently & prioritise demands
- Previous experience on mine site would be an advantage but not essential.
- Experience in Structural Steel Construction
- Current valid white card
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound knowledge of WH&S
- Current Drivers Licence
- Must be a team player
- Have a current order 43 or willing to obtain
This position is ready for an immediate start. Must be willing to complete mine medical and drug testing prior to commencing works.
Rate negotiable depending on experience.
