Our client is looking for experienced administrative support staff to join their Asset Design division and assist in project management and delivery.
Key responsibilities may include, but aren't limited to:
- Assisting the team to execute projects in a timely and budget-efficient manner
- Maintaining spreadsheets to track project progress
- Preparing and managing project Gantt charts
- Researching GIS web data and zoning development data to prepare permits for projects
- Assisting with project financials and preparing design budgets
- Assisting with preparation of project scope documents and Request for Quotes (RFQs)
- Assisting with the technical evaluation of design tenders
- Completing purchase order requests
- Checking and assisting with the processing of invoices
- Preparing project action plans and updating project correspondence in compliance with record management requirements
- Preparing and sending access permits
- Relevant qualifications in Project Administration and/or relevant work experience
- Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
- Commitment to customer service and collaborative mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer-savviness, with experience using MS Office tools
- Current class C driver's license
- Qualification in Civil Engineering or Project Management (desirable)
- Experience working with local governments (desirable)
