Project Administration Support Officer

Our client is looking for experienced administrative support staff to join their Asset Design division and assist in project management and delivery. 

Key responsibilities may include, but aren't limited to:

• Assisting the team to execute projects in a timely and budget-efficient manner
• Maintaining spreadsheets to track project progress
• Preparing and managing project Gantt charts
• Researching GIS web data and zoning development data to prepare permits for projects
• Assisting with project financials and preparing design budgets
• Assisting with preparation of project scope documents and Request for Quotes (RFQs)
• Assisting with the technical evaluation of design tenders
• Completing purchase order requests
• Checking and assisting with the processing of invoices
• Preparing project action plans and updating project correspondence in compliance with record management requirements
• Preparing and sending access permits

General qualifications and experience:

• Relevant qualifications in Project Administration and/or relevant work experience
• Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
• Commitment to customer service and collaborative mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer-savviness, with experience using MS Office tools
• Current class C driver's license
• Qualification in Civil Engineering or Project Management (desirable)
• Experience working with local governments (desirable)
