This key role will work together with our current team in key aspects of Project administration and estimating. The role will be diverse, and the key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Working together with the design team, contractors and suppliers to develop budgets for projects
- Develop scope of works for projects
- Develop works schedules for projects from start to completion
- Work together with the Project Manager to track progress of jobs and continually review costs
- Track progress of orders for each job worked on
- Obtain building approvals, council approvals etc.
- Collaboration with design team working on design and documentation
- Work together with building team on construction details
The following skills / experience required:
- Highly organised and have the ability to multitask
- Experience in retail and hospitality projects
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in the construction industry
- Excellent presentation, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills
- Effective planning and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Word / Excel and other Project Management software.
