ABOUT THE ROLE
Our business is growing and an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Administrator to join the team based in Port Hedland, Western Australia.
Project scope of work includes the operation of 60+ MC Vehicles tasked to transport Iron Ore from Onslow through to Kens Bore and includes all associated HV servicing & maintenance and repair.
Suitable applicants will have previous experience in a project administration role within regional WA, preferably in the transport & logistics industry. The Project Administrator will provide administrative support to the site based operational team whilst working closely with the administration team in Port Hedland.
The successful applicant will be able think on their feet, have a flexible approach, maintain attention to detail, hold a high regard for safety and communicate effectively within the team.
DUTIES:
- Administration of weekly timesheets
- Reporting activities
- Processing of HSE paperwork to ensure compliance
- Maintenance of rosters
- Travel requests and bookings
- Coordination of mobilisation activities
- General administrative support tasks as required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
- Hold a current and active:
- WA Drivers Licence
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in Myosh, Employment Hero, INX systems (Desirable)
- Display a positive attitude and outlook within the workplace.
- A flexible, collaborative and reliable approach.
As part of the employment process, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening and complete several company and client inductions.
