About the Role: 

Based at our Perth office, we are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to oversee and manage the Project Controls functions for our onshore gas and energy projects.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Project Controls processes, systems and procedures to ensure effective monitoring, tracking and reporting of project performance metrics.  This role will play a critical prat in ensuring project success by providing timely and accurate information to support decision making and mitigate risk. 

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Develop and implement Project Controls strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to the unique requirements of Enscope’s projects.
• Establish project baseline schedules, budgets, and performance metrics in collaboration with project teams.
• Monitor and track project progress, costs, and schedule performance against baseline targets.
• Conduct regular reviews and analysis of project performance data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop mitigation plans and corrective actions to address identified issues and deviations.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive project status reports and presentations to senior management and clients.
• Lead and mentor Project Controls team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in Project Controls to continuously improve processes and enhance project outcomes.
   

Required experience:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• Experience working in the downstream oil and gas industry in engineering and construction.
• Proven track record of successfully managing Project Controls functions for large-scale, complex projects from initiation to closeout.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
