Roads2000 is a well-established civil construction company in Western Australia, specialising in asphalt production, placement and project management. Roads2000 operates from a centrally located office in Osborne Park with a modern asphalt production batch plants in Wangara & Neerabup. We provide a professional service to government, commercial and residential clients.
About the Role
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and supervising civil projects. The role also provides efficient and effective civil construction support to the Civil Project Manager and Roads2000. Roads 2000 Projects are made of up of Metro and Regional works, each making up a portion of approximately six months of the year. It is a requirement of this role to work away.

- Ensure that project books are maintained and filled out on each job
- Ability to participate in a team environment that ensures the efficient and effective operation of the business unit.
- Highly developed project management, contract management, organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to ensure clear and concise reports and correspondence are prepared.
- Interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with internal and external customers.
- High level computer skills including the use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer or Project Manager with Asphalt related projects
- Knowledge of rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
- Extensive experience in the management of civil design, construction and project delivery
- Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering, civil construction techniques, materials and equipment required for civil works and design standards and procedures
- Ability to understand design briefs and tender specifications.
- QA experience advantageous
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- Valid Drivers licence
- White card
