The Role
This is a new role funded through the Indigenous Skills and Employment Program (ISEP). The program activities were developed in partnership with community, with a focus on prison prevention activities including case management, connection to culture, skills and training support and developing pathways for meaningful employment. This position will initially work alongside an external Project Manager who will support initial implementation for a duration of six months. Following this period, all program activities will be managed and monitored by this new role. It promises to be a varied and interesting position with considerable personal reward. The primary purpose for this position is to coordinate the service delivery activities, manage and support the program team and ensure reporting duties, data entry and recording is undertaken in an efficient manner.

Core Functions
- Work in partnership with the external Project Manager to develop program activities to ensure service delivery can commence in accordance with the project timeline;
- Assist with the recruitment of service team members;
- Oversee all team members;
- Oversee program providers;
- Coordinate advisory group and provide all advisory group administration and support;
- Engage, build and maintain relationships with communities and stakeholders throughout the region, whilst acknowledging the inherent strengths that already exist; and
- Provide regular project management reports on outcomes achieved to inform the CEO and funding body on project progress.(KPI Links)
The Project Coordinator will foster and support a culturally safe service and team environment.
The base salary range is $102,546- $107,074.
The position entitlements such as 4-weeks annual leave, personal leave and leave loading are in accordance with Social, Community Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (MA000100).
With superannuation, leave and leave loading added – the salary range is $115,206-$120,293.
