Delivering projects across Australia, Solar Set are experts in Solar PV and battery project management, installation, maintenance and management for commercial and Government assets.
We are looking for a self motivated and organised Project Coordinator to join our team based in Currumbin Waters. Working alongside the Director and Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating works, materials, equipment, and information relating to all solar and electrical projects.
The primary responsibility of this role is to keep the projects and all related processes running smoothly and in line with timelines and budgets.
Responsibilities include:
- Project administration including site documentation, work orders and handover documentation
- Coordinating equipment hire/deliveries to site
- Liaising with internal team to understand project requirements
- Contacting and coordinating multiple suppliers and contractors to complete projects
- Onboarding new contractors/setting up workers on relevant safety/induction platforms
- Stock ordering and management
- Vehicle, equipment and asset management and compliance
- Occasional site deliveries, assisting in site setup and stock pick ups
- Organising team training
- General warehouse and administration duties
We're looking for applicants with:
- Proven project administration/ coordination experience, working in a fast paced and varied environment
- Highly organised with proven ability to manage high volumes of work, meet deadlines and prioritise conflicting priorities and projects
- Experience using a variety of computer software packages including MS Office
- Experience working in the construction industry
- A high degree of initiative, takes ownership of issues and demonstrates a “can do” attitude
- Methodical and thorough approach to work
- Team player that can also work autonomously
- Current driver’s license
- A constriction industry white card
- Forklift license would be advantageous
