Work with an industry leader
We are one of Australia’s leading suppliers of high quality decorative surfacing materials, servicing residential and commercial segments.
Our goal is to build products of high value, akin to creating a work of art. Our approach is artisanal: sharpened skills, tireless effort, and patient refinement.
If you’re a born organiser, and feel your administrative talent and coordination skills are going to waste, then we’d love to harness your smarts and reward you with an interesting and varied job as a Project Coordinator in our Arndell Park office.
What you will be doing
As our Project Coordinator, you’ll be the frontline lynchpin of our team and manage our complex orders, coordinating the activities of procurement, logistics, installers and so on to ensure timely and correct delivery to customers. An operation that’s a little like being an air traffic controller in a busy airport.
Your deft communication skills will enable you to handle incoming calls and juggle competing demands, projecting a friendly, professional demeanour at all times.
And your organisational smarts will enable you to log and track the promised delivery date from initial order to fulfillment.
In any given day you’ll:
- Field calls and emails direct from customers and internal team members
- Schedule all necessary tasks and activities required to progress complex orders through to fulfilment
- Chase outstanding order pre-requisites (customers and internal)
- Monitor orders progression and take the necessary actions to keep orders on track
- Contact customers to advise them of delivery progress and any required actions
What you need to bring to the table
Naturally, you'll have the tenacity to work independently and the nous to troubleshoot small issues before they become big issues. But that doesn't mean you won't have our support. We provide full training on our process as well as our product ranges, and the pros and cons of different solutions. We'll also train you in our order tracking systems.
Your Team Lead is there to provide help when you need it, and leave you alone when you don't!
If you don't like talking to customers and vendors, this isn't the role for you. But if you have the smarts to quickly pick up our product portfolio and go that extra mile to deliver outstanding customer service, you’ll settle into this role just fine.
Here’s specifically what we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service, admin or entry level project coordination experience
- Comfortable talking on the phone
- Someone who is flexible and has the ability to work well with others
- The ability to turn a negative into a positive
- Great time management and organisational skills
- Someone who is naturally inquisitive and wants to learn
The benefits to you
- Competitive salary package
- Solid training and development
- Career development opportunities
An opportunity to join a leading company with a strong culture upheld by a premium customer experience
