The Position
The Project Coordinator will support several Project Managers across Australia with documentation and co-ordination to ensure projects can be delivered on time and budget. You should be able to manage many projects concurrently and efficiently.
Duties will include:
- Project closure and completion documentation. Pre-production and Pre-Installation documentation collation
- Liaising with clients regarding project updates, ensuring site readiness for installation, and assisting with installation run co-ordination.
- Issuing purchase orders to subcontractors.
- Monitoring site activities through efficient Project delivery techniques, excellent communication & timing, and high levels of professionalism.
- Supporting projects within the terms of the sub-contract agreement, managing variations and maximizing commercial gain through excellent communication and timing.
Skills and Attributes:
· Project Co-ordination & Office Administration experience and a background or interest in engineering or another technical field.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· Good numeracy skills.
· Ability to multi-task and work with concurrent projects, organised.
· Professional presentation, approachable.
· Focused on the demands of the projects.
· Previous project coordination experience.
· Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Project are needed.
· Understanding of project management methodologies.
