Project Coordinator - Shopfitting & Commercial Fitouts

ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a highly organised, motivated, and confident Project Coordinator/ Administrator to join our team for an exciting and diverse role at our Brendale office. This is a part time position with hours and days to be determined with the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for workplace construction, able to multi-task and thrive upon delivering accuracy and quality while working under pressure and enjoy working collaboratively in a friendly and professional team environment. Work experience in the Commercial Fitout Industry is desirable, but not essential.
The day-to-day tasks will include project planning, coordinating and purchasing of materials for site, raising of purchase orders, cost review as well as management and scheduling of contractors.
In addition to your daily tasks, you will also be required to;
- Reviewing plans, preparing tender packages, and obtaining quotes
- Compile building permit application documentation
- Preparation of OHS and Safety Paperwork for our sites
- Management of contractors including document control to ensure that licenses and insurances are up to date
- Assist and support to maintain, project milestones and timeframes
- Ensuring completion dates are being achieved by subcontractors and suppliers
- Coordinate and manage the delivery and installation of fixtures nationally
- Coordinate materials/suppliers and hire equipment
- Client and key stakeholder engagement
- General day to day administration and coordination of projects as requested.
- Administration and accounts ad hoc for all departments when required
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have:

- Relationship building skills
- A high standard of personal integrity, self-discipline and responsibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to organise themselves and others, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage continuous change and its consequences effectively
- Ability to take initiative and desire to help the team achieve outcomes
You must have full working rights with no restrictions/citizenship in Australia to be considered for this role.
