Project Coordinator
Your new company
An opportunity exists for a motivated and driven Project Coordinator specialising in construction / data centres to join a well-established company in Marsden Park. You will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects related to the construction, expansion, or maintenance of data centre facilities. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, technicians, and external contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Your new role
As a Project Coordinator, your day-to-day tasks will be to collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and milestones. Assist in the creation and maintenance of project schedules using project management tools.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.Assist in resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials required for project execution & coordinating procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related enquiries from internal teams, clients, and vendors & facilitate regular meetings and communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed of project progress.Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines & conduct quality inspections and audits to verify adherence to project specifications and requirements.What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in engineering / construction management preferred.Excellent presentation / interpersonal skills & strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably within the data centre or construction industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft ProjectPMP certification or equivalent is desirable but not required.What you'll get in return
Full time Permanent Role offering $70K - $100K (Depending on you)
