To be successful in this position, you will require a strong project support & coordination background, ideally with experience working within a PMO environment with well-developed influencing and negotiation capabilities to manage senor Executives and key program stakeholders and projects teams within a complex multi-faceted organization and stakeholder environment, and you role will support the overall success of on-going project implementations.
This role is suited to an experienced Project support professional with excellent documentation & administration skills where you will be tasked with project scheduling tasks, issue tracking and reporting, enhancing project governance aspects within the program structure, as well as stakeholder management activities.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for ensuring all project artefacts and reporting aspects are delivered on time.
- Support project governance, financials, timeframes, resource and directing all round administration throughout the project team.
- Support the monitoring of performance against a baseline of metrics and recommend improvements.
- Enhance project governance, reporting leveraging Microsoft tools such as Office365, MS SharePoint, MS Project Online.
- Support the oversight and the prioritisation of projects and assist with resolving any conflicts.
- Provide project briefings, status reports, project and resource schedules.
- Support and maintain best practices for the Project Managers for mission critical projects across systems, processes and standards.
- Support leadership and management in the development and maintenance of end-to-end project plans.
- Program & Project support experience in medium to large size organisations.
- Advanced skills using the Microsoft tool set for project management and PMO, such as MS SharePoint, MS Project Online etc..
- Well versed working within a PMO type frameworks – supporting processes and systems that improve the efficiency of the organisations Project delivery teams.
- Experience in the project coordination of a diverse range of projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management, engagement, influencing and negotiating skills.
- Accreditation in PMBOK, Prince2 or Agile / SCRUM highly desirable.
