Project Developer

Energised Talent Solutions is proudly supporting an internationally owned renewable energy business, with local Australian market experience for the past 16 years.
With significant expertise across both the C&I and Utility scale solar markets, they are now looking to hire and experienced Project Developer to join their Utility scale solar division into their Sydney based team, on a permanent basis. With opportunities to work on traditional utility solar, BESS and Geothermal storage technologies, this role can offer great exposure to future technologies.
As the successful applicant, you will have proven experience in project development for Australian based renewable energy projects and have gained the following key attributes:

• End-to-end project management from concept development to delivery on/offsite
• Preparing presentations and documentation
• Manage and co-ordinate development application and grid connection process.
• Land and site identification, analysing potential development sites.
• Negotiation with landowners on land option agreements
• Attending community consultation and stakeholder meetings
• Assist with budgets documentation, costs plan analysis and report preparation.
• Administrative tasks relating to the project management team.
• Identifying and managing risk
• Communicating with all stakeholders including suppliers, consultants, subcontractors, DNSP, government, local councils
• Clear and articulate communication and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with all internal and external project stakeholders.

You will have strong communication skills, allowing you to liaise and engage with the inhouse engineering team for support, but also with external consultants supporting grid connection and power system study activities.
You will be able to demonstrate where you have had experience in the development lifecycle and successfully seen projects move from the development lifecycle into construction within Australia.
