The Australian energy sector is experiencing strong demand for talented individuals, and we are currently inviting expressions of interest from Project Development Managers / Directors with experience in Renewables, who are looking for, or open to discussing, their next career move.
About the Position
As a specialist in Project Development, you will lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of Renewable Energy projects from inception to operation. Projects will cover all Renewable Energy formats, including Wind, Solar, BESS, Hydrogen, and Pumped Hydro.
Proven experience presenting to board members, leading negotiations, managing contracts, budgets, and agreements is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project Development, possess excellent organisational and communication skills, and be passionate about advancing the transition to clean and sustainable energy.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Environmental Science, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Renewable EnergyProject Development, including solar, wind, BESS, and other relevant technologies.
- Creating PPAs, performing financial modelling, and conducting due-diligence for new projects.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, government agencies, and community representatives.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and environmental considerations.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
