Project Engineer

Maine Civil Pty Ltd has a vacancy for a Civil Engineer or equivalent for a Project Management role in the Bendigo area. The successful candidate will be motivated by technical excellence, whilst drawing on their skills to deliver a successful business relationship with clients.

Our projects include a wide range of civil works for residential, industrial and commercial developments, Water infrastructure and local government projects including landscaping.

This position would suit a person who has a strong focus on delivering quality projects on time and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support.
• Obtain permits and meet contractual obligations
• Industry Induction Card 
• Manage and oversee projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including tradesmen, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and cost estimates.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications preferred but not essential 
• Previous experience in/with Estimating, Procurement, Land Development, Water Infrastructure, Landscaping and Client Relationships preferred. 
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment 
• Willingness to learn and be involved with all activities to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Experience with Expert Estimator (Pronamics)
