We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Major Projects Manager, the Project Manager will play an integral part of the team helping to deliver recently awarded projects and assist us in continuing to grow the company into the future.
Key objectives include driving project performance to achieve tendered objectives and targets in a way that encourages continued business with customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Delivering project management solutions on time, on budget, within scope, and with high quality to our clients.
- Developing and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including client representatives.
- Creating detailed work plans which identifies and sequences delivery activities.
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings to develop the manufacturing plan and sequence in partnership with the production team.
- Create engineering manufacturing drawings /dxfs if required by the project Manager.
- Determine resource requirements, as well as contractual and procurement strategies which are to be adopted for the projects.
- Monitor project budgets in liaison with operational stakeholders to ensure spending is controlled to meet financial targets.
- Capture, negotiate and process variations within levels of authority or advise management accordingly.
- Initiate and manage the supply of materials and parts in line with the Project Schedule to meet contracted delivery dates.
- Establishing and driving a positive safety culture with a proactive commitment to workplace health, safety and the environment.
You will have:

- Solid grounding in Mechanical Engineering, either from trade or engineering experience
- A technical college or higher level qualification.
- 5+ years’ demonstrated experience in project management
- Substantial interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working with MS Office
