Project Engineer - Civil

Infrastructure People are partnering with a leading local civil construction company. This company is experiencing remarkable growth and are actively seeking a Project Engineer to join their team on a project based around Sydney Metro and Bondi Beach.

Your responsibilities might include:

• Attending to the scope of work assigned with defined work methods and delivering these works in accordance with total project schedule;
• Exceeding performance targets for construction related aspects of the projects; including time, cost and quality.
• Providing advice and supporting field operations teams to ensure that daily targets are consistent with overall project targets
• Understanding contractual obligations to manage and mitigate any risks
• Supervising and coordinating resource allocation, fostering teamwork and positive attitudes
• Controlling costs to meet project performance targets within budget
• Ensuring HSEQ objectives are set and adhered too, always maintaining a strong safety culture
• Fostering strong relationships and communications with internal and external stakeholders to create long lasting relationships.

To be considered for the role you will have:

• Civil Engineering Degree
• 3+ years’ experience working across streetscape or road works projects
• Preference for experience on local council and TfNSW projects.
• Strong and demonstrated experience in project compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and relevant specifications
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders
