We are expanding our SHAPE Modular offering and seeking a Project Engineer to work with the team to achieve the delivery of safe, profitable, timely and quality of our modular construction projects in South Australia.
About the role
You’ll have a chance to be a critical part of a larger project team, and receive specialist training in contracts, risk management, programming and services so you can grow your career. You can also look forward responsibilities such as:

• Delivering projects in accordance with building specs and standards
• Helping with the management of contractual requirements
• Manage project documentation including; RFI documents, client & subcontractor meeting minutes, and update document register
• Managing our project delivery systems and EHSQ responsibilities
• Maintain effective communications with clients and subcontractors
• Partner with site management staff to ensure budget control and costs on the job is reasonable
• Supporting the management of the financial responsibilities of our projects
• Helping to generate detailed construction programmes

About you

• Building-related degree or diploma, or a trade background
• 2-5 years’ experience ideally in modular or conventional construction
• Experience assisting a Project Manager or multiple project managers on projects $700k - $5M+
• Great attention to detail and in specific interpreting specifications and applying them to the current project and scope of works
• Ability to develop and draft concise an accurate scope of works.
• Understanding of specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability
• Sound knowledge of EHSQ principles
• Solid grasp of MS Project, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Procore and Jobpac would be handy but not essential
