Project Engineer - Watercorp Projects - Perth

Leading utilities contractor has a requirement for an experienced Project Engineer who can demonstrate successful delivery of WaterCorp projects.

Our client is a global contractor with an impressive track record delivering technically challenging WaterCorp projects both in Perth and remotely.
Due to a company re-organisation they have an immediate requirements for an experienced Project Engineer that can demonstrate a minimum 2 yrs experience working on WaterCorp for a contractor NOT client side.
This is a permanent role and applicants must be able to demonstrate previous WaterCorp or utilities projects experience on projects with values from $1m - $5m+.
This role will be suited to someone with current or previous WaterCorp experience who can demonstrate successful management and delivery of projects while managing and directing fields staff but also has a cool head in client facing negotiations should it be EOT, variations etc.
These projects will cover various aspects of the water sector including, but not limited to, pipelines, mains upgrades, new installations, service locating.
Due to the size and nature of our clients’ projects applicants with a 2nd or large 3rd tier specialist contracting background would be most suited, ideally with WaterCorp experience.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Tertiary / Degree educated in civil engineering
• WaterCorp project delivery experience for a contractor NOT client side advantageous
• Tier 2 or large tier 3 experience advantageous
• 3+ yrs project experience with a recognised contractor
• Underground utilities / tunnelling / HDD experience advantageous
• Perth Metro experience desirable
• Excellent man management & client facing skills essential
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Computer literate
