THE PROJECT  
 
Construction of a Poultry Processing Plant consisting of circa 38,936m2 of Gross Floor Area providing for storage, processing, chilling, cold store, and distribution facilities.    

• 1,600m2 workshop and store building.  
• 3,791m2 of ancillary administration, staff amenities  
• Expanded Wastewater Treatment Plant; and  
• Construction of a new access driveway via an easement connecting to Armstrong Street via Workshop Lane  
• Construction of a new staff car parking area providing 820 car parking spaces.  
• Site landscaping and screening vegetation   

ABOUT YOU  

• Relevant building and tertiary qualifications 
• Proven industry experience as project or site engineer managing multiple packages 
• The ability to report accurately & directly to the PM on the operational and financial success of the projects 
• Proven experience managing sub contractors with programming, supervision and contracts administration. 
• Strong negotiating skills to implement contracts with sub contractors and suppliers to satisfy budgets, quality, safety and time requirements. 

THE ROLE    

• Manage and deliver allocated packages of the project in line with the program, project documentation, considering scope, quality and safety requirements 
• Overall technical coordination of the construction process, in conjunction with the senior project management team through the coordination and documentation of design and programme requirements 
• Provide a link between design, building services and sub-contractors to ensure project objectives are met 
• Reporting to Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager as applicable
