- Accountable for implementing and ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Risk Management Framework and ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Principles and Guidelines across all Major Projects within the Major Projects Portfolio.
- The role will also contribute to embedding a risk-based assurance model within the Major Projects environment where identified project and portfolio risks are a major consideration when planning and executing project assurance activities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Project Risk management related processes, templates, and guidelines in support of effective risk management in Major Projects.
- Provide specialist risk advice, facilitation, and support to Major Projects throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Degree qualifications in business, project management, finance or allied discipline and/or lower level qualification in a relevant discipline if coupled with significant experience within a project delivery environment
- Certified Practising Risk professional with membership of the Risk Management Institute of Australasia desirable.
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and application of Risk Management Frameworks in large scale infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of a range of risk management techniques, consistent with international and Australian risk management standards and best practice.
- Demonstrated experience in, leading, mentoring and educating others in the methodologies, principles, tools and techniques of risk management, specifically within a large scale project environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support the preparation and collation of information and holding to account key stakeholders to ensure that activities, plans and responses meet the immediate and long-term objectives of the business and division.
