Our client is currently looking for an Estimator/Scheduler with over 3 years of experience to join their team based in Nerang, Brisbane or Perth.
Our Client is seeking an Estimator/Scheduler with 3+ years of experience to join their team and contribute to challenging and rewarding projects in the resources, infrastructure, drainage, urban development, and roads sectors.This role will involve:
- Generating Class 4 and 5 construction estimates and schedules to inform project decisions/recommendations.
- Creating project engineering estimates and schedules across various classes.
- Providing planning, development, and management of project schedules (engineering and execution).
- Assisting the project team in progress and cost control and accurate reporting.
- Evaluating project progress and cost performance against plans and identifying potential progress and budget overruns requiring corrective action.
- Assisting the project team in managing the generation of Class 2 and 3 estimates from subcontractors.
- Generating and maintaining estimating and scheduling standards/procedures.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Proficient computer literacy, including MS Office suite, Oracle Primavera P6, Document Management Systems (e.g., Aconex), Acumen Fuse (preferred but not essential), and Deltek (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of Project Planning and Management.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Capacity to work effectively with minimal supervision while consistently producing high-quality deliverables.
- Self-starter mentality adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience; consideration will be given to both more and less experienced candidates.
- Qualifications in engineering, project management, cost control, or planning/scheduling preferred but not essential.
- Mining experience desirable.
- Understanding of Earned Value Management and Project Management.
