About the Better Together Project
The Better Together initiative is a groundbreaking project that seeks to unite regional, place-based legal assistance services in Western Australia through a sustainable partnership model. As Project Lead, you will play a crucial role in designing and building this federated model through coordinating project deliverables, engaging stakeholders and securing funding for the initiative's future.
Great Southern Community Legal Services is the coordinating agency for this project. You will work closely with the project reference group - made up of members from across regional Western Australia.
About the Role
We are seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to drive this initiative. The successful candidate can be based anywhere throughout Western Australia, with work from home available for this role. Depending on experience and capacity to drive all responsibilities, the hours are flexible up to full time - however we are prioritising skill and interest, and applicants preferring part-time hours are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project management efforts, ensuring timely completion of milestones and efficient use of resources.
- Develop strategic and operational plans that articulate the vision and objectives of the Better Together initiative.
- Foster stakeholder relationships, representing the project's interests and facilitating collaborative partnerships.
- Prepare and pursue grant opportunities.
- Craft and implement communication strategies to promote the initiative, developing a strong brand and messaging.
- Collaborate with experts and partners to align efforts and advance project activities.
- Uphold principles of equity, diversity, inclusion and justice throughout the project's execution.
Employment Terms
This role is a flexible position. We encourage applications from throughout Western Australia.
Award: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award, Level 6 to 8 (depending on experience)
Hours: 20 to 38 hours per week
Employment Type: Maximum Term until 31 August 2024 (extension subject to funding)
