About your new branch
The Parks and Open Space Services team is responsible for acquiring, planning, constructing and conserving the Gold Coast's parks, open spaces and natural areas to enhance recreation and sporting access, active and healthy lifestyles, appreciation of our natural areas and biodiversity conservation.
About your new role
The position is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing urban forest programs, strategies, and initiatives City wide. This role involves coordinating efforts to protect, enhance and manage the health, retention, and sustainability of trees in urban environments, parks, and streets.
This role will lead a small team who is responsible for the management, administration, and initiatives of all City tree assets and the growth and retention of the Urban Forest.
