The Role:

Joe Wagner Group is seeking a highly skilled fulltime Project Manager to become an integral part of our vibrant team. You will oversee projects in road, rail, bridge, civil construction and earthworks to the value of $20mil. 

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, project management principles, and relevant industry regulations. They will have strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills to address complex project challenges.

While the position is based in Toowoomba, applicants must be willing to travel to project sites in other locations as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 5 years demonstratable experience in managing multi-scope civil construction projects, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Expert Estimator). 

Key Accountabilities:

This role will be responsible for overall project performance including:

• Profit, time and HSEQ, 
• Resource management, 
• Claim and costs management, 
• Client relationship management, and
• Scope management.
