We need a Project Manager to oversee the effective execution of a significant transformative program involving our client's vital internal systems within a PRINCE2 framework. This role entails upholding organizational governance and meeting business requirements while ensuring the realization of benefits.
Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be tasked with the following:
- Coordinate project activities and resources to achieve the desired outcome within designated budget and timeframes.
- Foster close collaboration with project stakeholders, such as Project Executives, Project Board Members, Senior Users, Senior Suppliers, Senior Management, and other Project Managers.
- Serve as a conduit between ICT and business units to ensure alignment with their requirements.
- Effectively handle risks, issues, conflicts, change requests, and priorities, along with managing project finances.
- Develop and upkeep project schedules and oversee project resource allocations.
- Provide guidance and assistance to the project team.
- Deliver timely and precise progress reports to stakeholders.
- Implement Agile, PRINCE2, and MSP governance frameworks.
- Ensure proper project governance and assurance activities are established, including the development and implementation of governance structures and processes to ensure compliance with relevant policies.
- Develop and execute communication plans, organizational change management plans, and benefit realization plans when necessary.
- Communicate project updates to executive leadership, stakeholders, and team members.
- Prepare and present periodic reports and executive briefs on project status and performance.
- Fulfill any other duties as required.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Possession of Prince 2 Practitioner qualification
- Prior experience in ICT projects
Highly Preferred Skills:
- Diverse and up-to-date experience in both public and private sectors
- Recent proficiency with Microsoft Project and other Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools
- Recent experience in successfully delivering multiple application/COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) projects within a complex environment.
