The role
Working with multiple teams across the business, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing customer projects of varying complexity. The role requires technical product knowledge of Network, Infrastructure and Cloud, in addition to solid Project Management skills.
The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the following:
- Successfully delivering customer projects, including new builds or system migration, cloud migrations, disaster recovery (DR), security implementations, service desk onboarding, network rollouts, and various other managed services engagements.
- Ensuring a great customer onboarding experience and a seamless transition from project to operations phase.
- Identifying project dependencies and collaborating with relevant departments to ensure effective resolution and execution of plans.
- Improving resource management practices to enhance utilization, collaboration, and speed to market/outcome.
- Taking accountability for project outcomes, including managing virtual project teams, multiple vendors, and customer relationships.
- Championing a team culture focused on delivering commitments on time, within budget, and scope, while ensuring quality assurance, risk, and issue management.
- Developing project artifacts, such as initiation documents, project plans, risk management plans, resource plans, and project status reports.
- Implementing risk management strategies to handle strategic project risks, issues, financials, milestones, and benefits realization.
- Preparing project budgets, obtaining necessary approvals promptly, and monitoring project financials closely.
- Initiating and managing change management processes as needed.
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of PMO processes and development of various portfolio and program reports.
- Managing stakeholder expectations through effective stakeholder management principles.
- Ensuring standards, quality, and professionalism are maintained while adhering to the Project Management methodology processes and responsibilities.
- Managing and participating in post-project implementation reviews and reporting on lessons learned for overall process improvement.

- Proven experience with remote team management.
- Skilled in producing detailed project reports.
- Experienced in identifying and addressing project issues and risks.
