RTS have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to manage the High-Capacity Signalling (HCS) Retrofit, Static and Dynamic Testing Scope on the High Capacity Metro Trains (HCMT) fleet.
The HCS Project Manager will plan and manage execution of the HCS testing & retrofit project for the HCMT fleet. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Train Delivery Manager and will be based at our Pakenham Fleet Maintenance Centre, Melbourne, Victoria.
Key deliverables on the HCMT project:
- Responsible for test readiness of all Testing & Commissioning HCS scope.
- Flag & act on issues relating to labour resourcing, team training, materials readiness, procedure, tooling, tooling maintenance, test track & mainline availabilities.
- Support with planning, execution, configuration & quality of any new modifications relating to HCS scope for production trains.
- Provide visual management for HCS test scope completion & efficiency including hours expected & actual hours.
- Coordinate & ensure reviews of Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) for HCS testing.
Skills and knowledge required:
- Project Management qualifications
- Strong background in Project Management and Team Leadership.
- Engineering background would be a bonus to understand HCS features on train.
- Power platform (BI, Automate) familiarity is highly desirable.
- Rail Industry background preferred.
