Project Manager

Eden Ritchie is seeking a Project Manager to undertake the successful delivery of project/s (or technical work package/s) from Start Up through to Closing within an Agile environment, adhering to Customer Services Branch (CSB) governance and business requirements and ensuring benefits can be realised.

You work closely with the project’s A/Principal Change and Communication Advisor.

• 5 month contract with possible extension
• Flexible work arrangement available
• Based in Carseldine

As the Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Plan and coordinate project activities and resources to deliver the required outcome within the project budget and timeframes.
• Produce required project documentation in accordance with Department policies and procedures within an Agile, and MSP governance framework.
• Ensure appropriate project governance and assurance activities are in place for the project.
• Work closely with the Change & Comms Advisor to implement communication plans, organisational change management plans and benefit realisation plans where necessary.
• Liaise closely with all project stakeholders including Project Executives, Project Board Members, Senior Users, Senior Suppliers as well as Senior Management and other Project Managers within the CSB.
• Provide effective management of risks, issues, conflicts, change requests and priorities.
• Manage the project budget and finances.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Manage project resource allocations.
• Provide direction and support for the project team.
• Timely and accurate reporting on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
• Ensure project administration activities are undertaken in accordance with internal governance and compliance practices.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• Recent experience in projects in a complex agile environment.
• Current and varied experience across public and private sector is highly desirable.

Requirements (Mandatory):

• Agile Practitioner Qualified
