Key role overview
- Directly responsible for the delivery of complex, high value projects
- Key point of contact for customers and the business to communicate project status updates for the Utilities and contractors
- Sensitive to the customer’s needs and can develop and maintain warm customer relationships
- Using high levels of negotiation and communication to develop and maintain the successful delivery of Network Audits
- Ensure electrical engineering solutions are in accordance with all safety regulations and policies
- Work on a range of overhead and underground distribution projects
- Oversee projects from concept through commissioning and maintain project timelines and deliverables.
- Communicate your Electrical Distribution knowledge with team members through on the job learning, mentoring, training, performance management and succession planning activities
- Manage the production and verification of analysis and design, including drawings and reports relating to projects
- Coordinate a team of technical staff that includes Engineers, Drafts people and Surveyors
- Ensure complex customer project targets are achieved and any project risks are managed and communicated
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with power distribution networks & their standards
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Ability to estimate the cost and time required in preparing and completing technical drawings and solutions
- Project Management accreditation required
