The Role…
Reporting to the Program Manager – Business Initiatives, the Project Manager will manage the delivery of key business process and system change within Guild Insurance.
You may be working on projects like regulatory changes, breaches and incidents, business imperative initiatives or key strategic initiatives. It will be a role that will give you variety.
We are looking for someone that has the aspirations to be a Project Manager. You will need to have extensive Insurance Industry experience and understand how a general insurance business operates and its terminology. We’ll happily coach you with the Project Management skills and methodologies to be successful in the role.
It is essential that you are able to establish and nurture relationships across all organisational levels, coupled with excellent cognitive and analytical capabilities. Furthermore, you will possess highly developed influencing, verbal, and written communication skills. Effective multitasking, prioritisation, and adaptability in managing change are also crucial attributes for success in this role.
The Key Accountabilities of the role include…
• Concurrent Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each one progresses seamlessly
• Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in building strong working relationships with diverse internal stakeholders, leading productive project working groups
• Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficient in analysing and interpreting data to develop business cases aligned with our strategic objectives
• Documentation Expertise: Capable of documenting processes, policies, and system requirements with precision and clarity
• Leadership Support: Willingness to assist business leaders in implementing change initiatives and driving organisational transformation
• Effective Communication: Ability to deliver concise project status reports and facilitate decision-making in governance forums
About the Team…
This role is part of the large Planning and Operations team, but you will primarily be working with the other Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and Change Manager which is a team of approximately seven (7). As a team, they are supportive, open, and honest and enjoy having a bit of fun from time to time.
They have a strong focus on professional development and sharing knowledge amongst the team to help others build their capabilities.
