We are seeking a diligent, experienced and efficient Finance Officer/Accountant to work in a sole charge position reporting to the owners of the business.
Your new role The position will be responsible for the smooth running of Payroll services on a weekly basis coupled with the processing and records management of AP and AR. You will also be responsible for journal entries, reconciliations and banking/cash flow management and business analysis.
Overseeing the varied tasks of an administration office will also be part of this varied and important position. What you'll need to succeed We are seeking an experienced accounting professional for this role, but also important will be your ability to work across multiple entities with a varied work load which can differ day to day.
Using accounting systems - you will have a keen eye for detail and have recently worked in a similar position in a varied role. You must be able to demonstrate significant experience in Payroll services (end to end). Any year-end production and analysis skills will also be very beneficial.
The role is based within a half hour commute from Innisfail and/or Yungaburra. What you'll get in return This is a wonderful opportunity which will grow in responsibility with the position - this is a full-time position, but the hours are flexible (having Friday's off is a real option!) Whilst this is a sole charge position, you will work with a motivated, driven team of people keen to continue to operate the business successfully.
