Project Manager - C&P

Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager for our client, a privately owned Commercial fit-out company, with expertise in C&P,

The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team and deliver quality products and services to highly valued clients.
As the Project Manager your role will be less of a hands on role and more focussed on set outs for thier commercial projects.  You could be managing more than one project, depending on the scope of work and will be responsible for both internal staff and some subcontractors, with a focus on attention to detail and delivering outstanding projects on time and on budget. The successful candidate will need to be experienced and committed to continuing the success and reputation of the business.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Effective relationship management with all stakeholders including prospective and existing clients, suppliers, staff, contractors, and others.
• Provide effective direction and leadership to the Projects Team and site staff.
• Manage all aspects of the projects from inception to completion.
• Complete projects within time & budget constraints.
• Manage any changes to scope, project variations, and defects.
• Manage all OH&S issues.
• Conduct site visits as required to ensure smooth and efficient project completion.
• Liaising with external parties such as certifiers as and when required 

Applicant Requirements:
To ensure your success in this role, you will need:

• 3 years plus Project Management experience in the commercial fit out industry.
• Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Commitment to delivering absolute client satisfaction.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Detailed understanding of Australian Building Standards.
• Commitment to OH&S practices and standards.
• Strong time management & prioritizing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation 

Ideally, you will have proven leadership skills, work well with minimal supervision, and enjoy working in a fun team environment. The company have projects in various locations, however, a high percentage are in Brisbane, with the office further south. However, attendance at the office is only required as needed.
