The Opportunity
As the Project Manager for the Energy & Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for seeking and securing opportunities to grow the Energy & Infrastructure department, while delivering a number of niche projects for TSBE members and stakeholders.
Key Duties and Accountabilities:
- Continuously source and disseminate regional opportunities, resources, information, and invitations to TSBE members and stakeholders
- Identify commercial projects in collaboration with TSBE staff for our stakeholders (i.e. buyers and suppliers) that align with TSBE’s strategy and Energy & Infrastructure’s project model and grow our pipeline
- Deliver an ongoing supply chain matching and skills audit project, where we are assisting energy developers in our Region with construction activity
- Project manage flagship initiatives with our Event’s department such as the established TSBE Energy Awards, TSBE Energy Summit Conference which brings together the Southern Queensland Regions extensive Energy community
- Perform various other duties as needed for the overall function of the Energy & Infrastructure team that supports the wider organisation
- Attend meetings and networking events to build a database of connections and to source intel
-Source suitable grant and funding opportunities to enable capacity building internally and support Industry and Economic Development.
-Support member and stakeholder value by developing, maintaining, and utilising a variety of TSBE tools and resources
Qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience:
-Previous experience in a project management and/or project delivery position with examples of tracking stages of a project to completion
-Previous experience in a Business Development position (advantageous but not essential)
-Previous experience around supply chain contractor activity in construction, industrial or renewables (advantageous but not essential)
-Ability to self-motivate and a work autonomously
-Exceptional organisational and team management experience
-Strong networking and client management skills
-Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
-Excellent written and verbal communication
-Proficient in MS Office Suite
