Our client is a prominent and relatively small federal government agency.
Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra this 6 months initial contract will suit an experienced Project Manager to deliver a pilot program entailing extensive stakeholder engagement, end to end delivery and the set up of a Support Centre to include a Hotline.
The project has reached a critical stage and is about to go into pilot mode.
The Project Manager will be experienced in delivering projects within a program, and will require a strong technical background to take accountability for the delivery of said pilot, support services, overseeing various workstreams, working with the business and various SME’s spanning policy, content, legal, comms, hotline, analytics and technical teams.
You will also be working closely with the CIO and CTO in the establishment of a national support centre encompassing a call centre/ hotline which will also feature video and chat capabilities.
In order to qualify for the role you will need:
- Australian Citizenship and eligibility for Baseline Clearance
- Strong background and qualifications in project management
- Demonstrated experience in delivering large scale and high profile project initiatives of a similar nature , encompassing various workstreams
- Strong technical background (programs and projects) with components of shared services, data migration, security, contact centres/hotlines etc.
- Experience in online safety would be highly regarded
- Experience with Government state or federal is a MUST
- Very strong interpersonal skills, empathy and ability to relate to various audiences
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience with high profile and large projects encompassing call centres, CRM, information management, analytics etc
- Experience with Government processes and working with vulnerable communities
This will be an initial 6 months contract paying approx. $1100PD inc super.
