About the role
The Project Manager will drive performance in the delivery of a range of complex Tier 3 construction projects (value ranging from $50,000 to $3 million in size).
You will have the opportunity to work on small to large Sydney based projects through some of our Key and new clients.
Key clients include Airservices, City of Sydney, NSW Police Force, NSW Fire Brigade, and ANSTO. Private sector includes Sydney Airport, Virgin Airlines Australia, DHATA, and DHL, Non-for- Profits organisations including Salvation Army Property, and Vinnies, and Aged care providers including Salvation Army Aged Care, BaptistCare, Estia and Anglicare. Project delivery ranges from construct only, Scope, Design and Construct, and Design and Construct.
Role Requirements
The main responsibilities will include:
- Project Managing various projects from tender to completion
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
- Completing project administrative tasks including reporting against agreed program, budget, cashflow, work health safety, and scope delivery.
- Communicating and managing clients and stakeholders
- Communicating and setting expectations with Site Managers and their teams to establish agreed programs and resources
- Creative problem solving, ability to negotiate change and remove roadblocks.
- Closing projects on time, on budget and to agreed client quality expectations (including defects, project budget, operations maintenance manuals, certifications).

What you will bring
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- 2-3 years Project Management/Contracts Administrator experience
- Refurbishment, remediation works & fit out project management experience is preferred (light construction)
- Qualifications in Construction or Project Management is desirable or demonstrated prior experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management processes
- NSW White card
- NSW Driver’s license for site visits.
- Knowledge or experience with financial management and reporting e.g. Procore.
- Competent in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrated stakeholder management skills
- Maintaining a neat and tidy professional appearance
- Professional, dependable, and trustworthy behaviour and attitude, in line with our company culture
The following background checks and certifications must be obtained due to the nature of our clientele and site access requirements:
- Must be willing to undergo and obtain NV1 Security checks.
- Must be willing to undergo and obtain National Police Check
- Maybe be required to have the Influenza and Covid Vaccine
