Based in Melbourne's South East, our client is focussed on creating and building communities for homeowners seeking to downsize without compromise.
Due to ongoing success our client is seeking an experienced Project manager to be responsible for the management and delivery of a newly signed $150 mil project.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drive the project to achieve overall requirements of time, cost & quality of project from initial planning (Civil Works) to completion (maintenance).
- Develop and lead a high-performing team through the lifecycle of the project including your direct reports - Project & Customer Delivery coordinator and Assistant Project Manager.
- Procurement & Programme manage to meet the business targets of civil, home settlements, and commercial works.
- Manage project budgets & timelines and continue to seek cost savings.
- Establish and upkeep excellent relationships with homeowners.
- Manage & be the centre of communication for this project with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide reporting regarding the project status & present to executive team.
- Previous experience in Residential Construction, in a management or similar position essential. Minimum 5 years.
- Commercial experience, understanding of Civil construction is advantageous.
- Proficient knowledge & use of a a SAP or similar accounting system
- Strong stakeholder communication & management skills
- Strong negotiation skills with a thorough understanding of budgets & business targets.
- Highly organised individual that has the ability to work across multiple projects and tasks whilst simultaneously providing strong management.
- Example of an ideal candidate will be an individual who has managed various teams across the business, including Estimating, Engineers, Council, Marketing, & Customer service. Strong Construction knowledge and proven ability to communicate & deliver reporting to Executives is required.
