Our people are vital to our success. To that end, we’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to work closely within our existing property team. You will be responsible for the site management and commercial aspects for the residential property business.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager you will be working on high-end luxury residential construction projects which will include overseeing the builder, construction site, sub-contractors and entirety of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing luxurious residential projects from the range of $5m-$10+m in value
- Manage and oversee contracts administration staff and onsite construction staff for the projects
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers in conjunction with supporting the contracts and admin staff
- Negotiate pricing and scope of works arrangements
- Financial tracking and management of project budgets
- Attend internal and external meetings when required alongside conducting daily site inspections of the build
- Responsible for the approval and accuracy of supplier Invoices and contractor progress claims
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and protocols to ensure worker protection.
- Liaising and coordinating with consultants, architects, engineers & other relevant stakeholders to clarify and administer the project documentation and contract commitments
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality with meticulous attention to detail
Required Skills
- 7 years + Project Management experience
- Experience in high-End Residential is a must-have requirement working on projects of at least $5m+
- A sound understanding of high-End Residential construction
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management and onsite experience
- Current builders license and authority to work in the relevant capacity
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to drive project delivery on set timeframes and within budget
