As an experienced Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Create process efficiencies, and identify potential value that the client is able to provide to its customers;
- Deliver to outcomes agreed with the client and be responsible for service delivery and stakeholder management;
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer requirements and domain;
- Proactively monitor progress and risks, resolve issues and initiate appropriate corrective action for all assigned projects;
- Undertake responsibility for commercial management in accordance with the Defence service contracts;
- Build strong customer relationships in order to grow IPS Project Management Services engagement;
- Provide progress reporting at regular intervals and as requested;
- Perform planning, monitoring and control of multiple projects;
- Organise and manage the clients procurement including negotiation with third parties;
Skills and experience required:
- Contract and Project management;
- Project financial budget and forecasting;
- Reporting and compliance;
- Risk and issue management;
- Contract vendor/Supplier engagement;
- Project health-checks, including Project closure and records management;
- ITIL Service Management experience;
