Your new role:
As the Project Manager – Passive Radio Frequency Sensors (PRS) you will manage one of the peak products developed by Red Ochre Labs.
PRS is one of the most innovative and complex electronic products manufactured in Australia, adding to the development of world-leading sovereign guided weapon technology. The work you will undertake will continue the our innovation on guided weapon development that commenced over 25 years ago.
In more specific terms you will:
- Own the day-by-day project management duties for the PRS, which covers internal and external reporting of project status, resourcing, schedules, financials, risks and opportunities, issues and Earned Value Management.
- Foster a positive and collaborative culture between key project stakeholders and the project team including the customer, industry partners, sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Identify and purse of future business opportunities. Establish appropriate key success indicators and recommend trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost.
- Ensure that products and services delivered in accordance with Business Case, S&Q artefacts and Product Safety Policy support customer satisfaction.
- Work in cohesion with Project Engineering Manager to develop and grow the PRS technical capabilities through existing and future succession planning and recruitment.
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Experience on Electronic Defence projects with Project Management qualification or skills across multi methodologies.
- An inquisitive & creative mind and able to manage, coach and support team, committed to learning and ongoing development
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of different audiences.
- Ability to manage complex projects, navigate through multiple priorities & ensure cohesive collaboration.
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
